Tylamar (born T. L. Perry) is an American R&B, soul, singer and songwriter. Tylamar was born in Plainfield, NJ
by W. Blair and J. Hill. At a young age Tylamar would sing every song that came on the radio, and could recite all the lyrics line for line. Tylamar even performed for his preschool class, in front
of a fairly large audience. It’s no secret that at a young age we had a star on our hands. Tylamar grew up in the Plainfield/Piscataway area until he was about 6 years old. At the age of 7
his mother and stepfather moved the family to North Brunswick, NJ. Raised in the church, Tylamar also joined the children’s choir, where he later became president of the choir. As a young
man, Tylamar was inspired by singers such as Luther Vandross, Tina Turner, Bebe & Cece Winans, and various other artists. At the age of 10 Tylamar loved to write, he would write poems and he
began to write short stories as well. At the age of 12 he began to write songs, intern recording them on a small boom box in his room. Tylamar graduated from Allentown High School in 06/1999 and by
this time had several notebooks full of songs. Tylamar began attending Mercer County College in the fall of that same year. While attending college Tylamar met Bruce Davis, who was also an aspiring
singer, and they eventually formed an R&B singing group named ConSoul including two other members. ConSoul began to practice and train in hopes to one day become famous in the music industry.
Eventually the group broke up and went their separate ways. At this time Tylamar began to pursue his solo career. Tylamar then began to record in several Studios and started working with Lamont
“Monty” Matthews of Blue Diamond Enterprises. Along with recording and still working a full time job Tylamar graduated from Mercer County College with an Associates Degree in Applied

includes the smash hits Personal”, and “Anything is possible”. Tylamar continues to strive for his goal, and will continue to put Christ first in doing
